For With God Nothing Is Impossible

LUKE 1:36

If ever there was a time of the year for faith to rise, it is now. The very time of the year during which we give thanks and celebrate the great truth that “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld His glory – the glory as of the only begotten of the Father – full of Grace and Truth”. John 1:14.

Mary found the message of the Angel that she was to give birth to a son who would be the Son of God, difficult to believe. Her question was understandable; “How can this be, since I do not know a man?”  The Angel’s reply brought reassurance “Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age, and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. For with God nothing will be impossible. Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word”.

At a time when people thought they were forgotten, feeling that God had moved far away and that there was no hope; a time when FAITH was at its lowest ebb, that was when God moved into the human scene.

He did it with such a dramatic display of miracles that the event has never been forgotten. Everything about the coming of Jesus the Son of God into the world was full of miracles, dreams and visions, the power of the Holy Spirit and the rising of faith.

Later in this same gospel, we find similar words. In answer to the question “Who then can be saved?” Jesus said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God!” Yes! Let faith rise in our hearts. It is God’s intention we understand that with Him nothing is impossible. Let’s have a faith-filled Christmas that brings glory to God. Your greatest hopes and aspirations, your dreams for peace, happiness, and self-esteem, can be met by God’s only Son who entered the World with a series of miracles that would stamp him on the history of mankind.

At a time when Salvation was almost a forgotten hope, God the Father fulfilled His promise by giving his Son. Whatever your need may be, let the assurance that “WITH GOD NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE” bring a surge of faith into your heart.

“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace”.

Have a blessed and faith-filled Christmas and beyond,

Eddie.
